The latest...

Dr. stripped my membranes on Wednesday... had significant bleeding from that for just the rest of that day... oh and cramping.  She said she would induce me on Saturday unless I go into labor before that.  Well the cramping turned into back pain and severe cramping yesterday at about 2 pm and lasted for about 4 hours.  I really chalked it up to gas pain.  It felt like I had eaten about 5 Fiber One bars and was suffering the consequences of that - except with back pain.  My poor DH raced home from work and started shoving stuff in the car.  I told him that we had to simmer down and that it might not amount to anything.  As I had guessed, the cramping let up and then I just had back pain.  Now things have seemed to subside, but this morning I lost my mucous plug (ewwww).  Not to be graphic but I read somewhere that someone called it brown vagina snot and I thought "geez lady... that's disgusting".  I'm here to tell you all--  It was accurate.  Hopefully I'm not being offensive, just want to be truthful.

I slept from about 11 pm to about 4 am this morning and now I'm wide awake and starving hungry.  I think I'll go and have a snack and the DH and I can make a little trip out for breakfast.  Unless I go into a real labor today, then I'm to call Labor and Delivery tomorrow morning at 6 am and ask if it's OK to come into be induced.  So soon we will have our little one.  Can't wait to share that with you all.
